How To Clear Your Internet History
Added 18 of February 2009 (624 views)
While surfing the internet, Internet Explorer tracks your activity. Anyone who accesses your computer can then see your web surfing history, including images, videos, and files that you have viewed while on the internet. Internet Explorer also stores information that you have entered on those websites.
Normally, this is helpful because it can improve your web browsing speed and can automatically suggest information you have typed before so that you don't have to type it again. However, this practice compromises your privacy and security if anyone else uses your computer.
If someone else uses your computer, you can Clear Your Internet History. In Internet Explorer 7.0, you have the option of deleting one or more of the following: temporary internet files, cookies, history, form data, and passwords.
In Internet Explorer 7.0:
Select "Tools"
Select "Internet Options"
Select the "General" tab
In Browsing history area click the "Delete" button
If you want to Clear All Your Internet History:
In Delete browsing history window click "Delete all", and then click "Yes"
To clear part of Internet Explorer 7.0 history, select ONE OR MORE of the following:
Select "Delete Files", then click "Yes"
Select "Delete Cookies", then click "Yes"
Select "Delete History", then click "Yes"
Select "Delete Forms", then click "Yes"
Select "Delete Passwords", then click "Yes"
